Glad to have you on board. Tell your friends for we seem to be lacking in the member department. I know there's lots of people out in the world that are interested in this music so hopefully most of them have access to computers and will join us here. About your title, does anyone have any links to some Japanese music mp3's?? Besides the Unexpected Fastsounds website and this one I don't know of any. a good way is to put a link on the profane existence messageboard as well. there is a shitload of japanese hcpunkfreax over there. ;D

Wow, I never looked at the PE message boards before. Pretty big. I registered but it's being testy about giving me my fucking password so I'll just wait and post about the zine there later. Any other boards out there worth hitting?

I had the same problem on the PE messageboard. Apparently you have to email the moderator to get a password coz something in the board settings is fukked.

Wow..... I went ahead and e-mailed the administrator to get my password so I can post. Pretty weird that it has difficulties auto replying to yahoo and hotmail accounts. Y'all be my missionaries and shit and spread the Katteni word around the web to all the undergound boys and girls. Most of the people I've contacted so far are Japanese, and as you can see, they're blowing up the Japanese section of the forum.  |

I wouldn't bother with the Revelation board. All you're gonna get out of that is a bunch of people calling you a "fag" or some such nonsense. At best, you might get a bunch of entertaining flame posts to the effect of all of us being losers because we don't want to have sex with MADBALL or HATEBREED. I've spread the word on a few boards. Hopefully more people will join soon.

hahahaha.... yeah, Revelation metal jocks might be a bad thing. Similar reason why I haven't mentioned much on several other grindcore based msg boards. In a drunken bout, I almost advertised on the Relapse forum.  Woulda been a mistake me thinks. |

I think so too. I had to implement an upcoming shows page on my distro site just to avoid having to weed through all the "so and so's a fag" and "who would win in a fight between SSD and DYS" posts on our local messageboard.

Hey, thanks Goul. Yeah, I've read posts(not here) and heard about lots of non-japanese hardcore fans in Osaka and the surrounding area. Definitely a hot fucking scene. A show list would be great. I'd put it up in the Calendar section. Ever think of writing some Kansai show reviews?   Really though, it's too bad that the Tokyo and Osaka scenes are so seperate. You'd think they were different countries or something. The only Osaka band that hits Tokyo on a regular basis is Corrupted. I'm not complaining there!!! |
