Awesome! Glad you liked it! Did I get to meet you there?? I met so many internet people it was insane! I don' think I found out you went until after I got back. Best time I've had in a looooooong time. No sleep, little food and gallons of beer and way too many cigarettes.
I thought our set was total shit though. THe sound guy was an asshole and totally fucked us up on stage to where we couldn't hear each other, only ourselves. We made so many mistakes it was retarded. I felt cheated. Oh well.. people seemed to enjoy it anyway so that's all that really matters. ;D

No, you didn't meet me, but I was kinda easily spotted. I was the young teen with big hair and glasses hanging out with my dad on the second floor, an old guy with an arm brace. I didn't think you guys sounded too bad but it did seem like the soundguy was the quite the bastard. He always looked really pissed off whenever a band wanted anything. I wonder why he even works as soundguy. Does he just enjoy showing off the wonders of his double rat tail? I had so much fun I was grinning all week long....I haven't had so much fun in a very long time...  |

I wish I could go back in time and shit and talk to more people and have all my shit straight. I watched some video of us playing recently and it wasn't quite as bad as I thought it was. Still, there were some really fucking bad mistakes where our drummer either started early or too late because he couldn't hear me in his monitor. Set us all of and caused us to pause and fuck up a lot. Damn..... That was a great fucking weekend. I'm definitely going again next year if the lineup is anywhere near the same. Whether I play there or not. |
