For my money, Mind Collage are pretty darn good. The demo's CD-R though. Same goes for 48 (yonjuuhachi). Both are grind, MC are more goregrindy, although not straight-up goregrind, and 48 are kinda like crust/grind...? Ermmmm, I randomly picked up a demo tape by a band called Sound in Allman a month or two back purely on the basis that the tag said 'grind' and it's limited to 20 copies, and that was pretty awesome too... nice noisy grindy stuff. Can't fuck with FID, of course; there's already a couple of threads about them on here and mp3s on the 'zine itself. I personally reckon that And Believe's demo CD-R is fucking fantastic, they're old school melodic hardcore a la Gorilla Biscuits but with screamed vocals and a shot of amphetamine. And Gravuruit deserve a mention purely for finishing their live set after the guitar broke during the first song, and still being entertaining with it too.
That's me out of ideas... enter someone who actually knows what they're talking about...

And they were on a comp cd before that. There's even a topic about them somewhere on this board.
Good demo's are: Revolt (Japan metalcrust like axegrinder) Gravuruit (Japan grindcore)

Revolt demos are indeed great. I think they have 3 of them, but don't hold me to that. I have one, and I have another coming.
Deconstruction has two interesting demos, but I like noise.

Hallo there, japanese pals! I plan "noisecore + power-violent-fast-grind- hyper-freaky-music/..." CD-R compilation. I want mainly japanese bands on it as like: C O N G E N I T A L H A E M O R R H O I D S, Dx Ix Ex, N I K U D O R E I, U N H O L Y G R A V E, G O R E B E Y O N D N E C R O P S Y, S E N S E L E S S A P O C A L Y P S E, I M P R E G N A T E T R I CH O M O N A S, T E R R I B L E H E A D A CH E, S M A S H T H E B R A I N, W O R L D, H I M I T S U K I N G, S C A B, A R G U E D A M N A T I O N, M A S S G R O U N D, I. Please try to forward this message to other projects, bands and artists. I need unreleased material in solid quality of sound, could be live, rehearsal, home-studio, garage, but UNRELEASED. No money needed to join it. Each band will get some copies. Extra cover design and package is planned. Thank you for all advanced help. Is this another Anomalous Silencer comp you're planning, or a different one? I'm afraid no actual Japanese people post on here, but apparently some lurk from time to time... Napalmed are very good, by the way. Well done

Gravuruit: quarki_code-47463@jp-h.ne.jp (fuck, I wonder WHY do Jpanese make all those URL's and email addresses so insanely complicated?)
Revolt: sukabix@ezweb.ne.jp (I really like this band!)
New demo's I like:
Gallhammer (great Amabix/eery doom band+ very nice ppl) DxCxRx (good fist up HC) Thanx to 'I Listen To Grindcore' for making these bands known to me.
Litte Bastards/Reduction/Peacefull Collapse 3 way demo cd-r (good fast grindy or crusty hc thrash)

Gallhammer are excellent.
I picked up the Deathcount / Noizedipsia split demo today; I'm looking forward to listening to that one 'cause Deathcount were fucking amazing live, despite the lack of a live drummer.

Gravuruit: quarki_code-47463@jp-h.ne.jp (fuck, I wonder WHY do Jpanese make all those URL's and email addresses so insanely complicated?) What language did you deal with Gravuruit in? I really wanna get hold of a copy of their demo, and would rather not struggle composing an e-mail in my somewhat basic Japanese if they can speak decent English...

I got the demo from Takashi from DxIxE/Donmai records. So I don't know if Gravuruit speak English. But the demo is great, although it's only 4 minutes long.

Yeah, I saw them live but the vocalist/guitarist's guitar broke halfway through the first song - the neck snapped clean off! They still finished the set, though someone had to go and persuade him to come back 'cause he'd stormed off outside when his guitar broke! I was gonna buy their demo then, but none of them were around to sell it to me and after like ten minutes I got fed up waiting...
