as many japanese bands tour the US, west coast especially, I wanted to know why they weren't any touring europe lately?
have you contacts with bands willing to do so?

It seems only the more 'experimental' bands tour Europe lately. Acid Mothers Temple, Ruins, Merzbow etc. toured here this/last year. The last Japanese hc bands were Chainsaw, and Crude some time before that. We don't get the Paintboxes and Framtid's  But I guess you could alsways ask them! |

Unholy Grave toured the UK with Total Fucking Destruction in September. About two weeks after I'd left the UK to go to France to study for a semester. Cunts. Oh well, I ought to be seeing them twice next month ;D
Ruins toured Europe recently, and I missed it? Darn...

Yeah, end 2003. It was 'together' with Acid Mothers Temple, + some other projects. It was only 3 guys though  The bassplayer for Ruins got injured before the tour, so the drummer played alone, along with some basssamples. Tightest shit I've ever seen anybody play. |

TETSU AREI went to the UK twice (as did ROTARY BEGINNERS)
ORDER went to Europe,so did SDS..
As for upcoming tours.hmm CRUDE are going back to europe in december i believe.
NIGHTMARE were invited to tour Europe but turned it down for various reasons.

Yup, Crude is coming again.
Also SoulCraft was invited, but they wanted to concentrate on Japan first I think.

Are CRUDE only playing a limited number of shows - like they did last time they were here in December 2002 - or are they touring all over the place?

Envy played the UK recently, I think they toured europe as well. Acid Mothers play the UK all the time. Boris played London last year. I know Corrupted played in Belgium a couple of years ago.

Yeah, Envy were one of the support bands on the Lightning Bolt UK tour a couple of months ago. Dunno about mainland Europe.
Acid Mother's Temple, Boredoms and maybe one or two other Japanese acts played at some sort of festival in the UK at about the same time (Lightning Bolt also performed, I think it was the first date of their UK tour).
