It hurt but the pain was tolerable. The next band was DxIxE, there was no way I was gonna miss them, so I watched them from behind the speakers. The original plan was to go to hospital after that, cause I knew it was broken as soon as I worked out that it wasn't dislocated. But then it occurred to me that I should probably make sure my insurance covered it first... so in the end I didn't get to a doctor's until about 7:30 on Monday evening. In true stubborn-cunt fashion, I have yet to take even one painkiller for it ;D  |

You broke your fucking bone, in where looks like a painful fucking place, stuck around to see the rest of the show and THEN went to the doctor the next fucking evening!!! What you got on it now? One of those shoulder/arm casts that look uncomfortable as hell?? Fucking Japanese painkillers suck... soooo bad. I pulled a muscle once so bad that I couldn't fucking walk without it killing me and they gave me some shit little pills no stronger than regular codeine. I had to take 3x the perscribed amount to even go to the bathroom. I showed them to my nurse friend later on and she told me that it's the strongest shit doctors are allowed to prescribe. Fuck! |

It didn't hurt too bad on the night - low-level shock and all that. I'd have gone to the doc earlier, but I spent most of the Monday sleeping... I'm in a sling - they can't put a cast on that bone without giving you one of those ones that props your arm up 90 degrees. I wouldn't have been allowed to fly with a cast, anyway.
